Boat storage in Panama City Beach

Spaces for boats on trailers
Measure the trailer, not the hull — the tongue and the outboard both add length people forget.

Salt water, and the thing everyone skips
Flush the engine and rinse the trailer every single time you come off salt water — including the brakes, the springs and the wiring, which is where trailers actually die. Then let it dry before you cover it, because a cover over a wet boat is a greenhouse.
The rest of it — fuel stabiliser, battery, drain plug, cover tension — is in our Florida boat storage guide.
Why not just keep it in the driveway
Around here, three reasons. HOAs and condo associations across Panama City Beach restrict boat and trailer parking, so for a lot of owners it isn’t an option to begin with.
A trailer parked on a residential street is an easy target. And a boat sitting in full Gulf sun for months does not thank you for it — UV is harder on gelcoat, upholstery and canvas than most owners expect.

Questions people actually ask
- How long a boat can you take?
Up to a 45-foot space, measured over the trailer including the tongue and the outboard. Send us the numbers and we’ll confirm.
- Can I store a jet ski or two?
Yes — a pair on a double trailer fits a 10×20 comfortably.
- Is there a wash-down area?
Ask us what’s available on site. Either way, rinse before you arrive rather than after — salt does its damage in the first days.
- Can I get in before sunrise?
The gate opens at 6:00am, which for most of the year is before or right around first light.
